💊 How to Use the Medication System

Learn how to add medications, create schedules, manage reminders, and keep your profile up to date.

Adding a Medication

Use this when you want to track a new medication in MyMedTime.

  1. Go to the Medications page.
  2. Click the Add Medication button.
  3. Enter the medication name, strength, and any notes you want to remember.
  4. Click Save to add it to your list.
Tip: Use clear names like “Lisinopril 10 mg” so you can recognize them quickly in your schedule.

🕒 Creating a Schedule

Schedules tell the system when you plan to take each medication.

  1. Go to the Schedules page.
  2. Click Create Schedule.
  3. Select the medication you want to schedule.
  4. Choose the time(s) of day and days of the week.
  5. Set how many pills or units you take at each time.
  6. Click Save to activate the schedule.
Note: You can create multiple schedules for the same medication if your dose changes on different days.

✏️ Editing a Medication

Use this when the name, strength, or notes for a medication need to be updated.

  1. Open the Medications page.
  2. Find the medication you want to change.
  3. Click the Edit icon or button next to it.
  4. Update the details as needed.
  5. Click Save to keep your changes.
Changing a medication’s name or notes will not remove any existing schedules, but you may want to review them.

🗑️ Deleting a Medication

Delete a medication when you no longer take it and don’t want it to appear in your lists.

  1. Go to the Medications page.
  2. Locate the medication you want to remove.
  3. Click the Delete icon or button.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete it when prompted.
Important: Deleting a medication may also remove its schedules and related reminders.

📅 Editing or Deleting a Schedule

Use this when your dose or timing changes, or when you stop taking a medication.

  1. Open the Schedules page.
  2. Find the schedule you want to change.
  3. To edit, click Edit, adjust the times, days, or dose, then click Save.
  4. To delete, click Delete and confirm when asked.
If your doctor changes your prescription, update your schedule as soon as possible so reminders stay accurate.

👤 Updating Your Profile

Your profile stores basic information about you and how you prefer to use MyMedTime.

  1. Click on your Profile or Account link in the menu.
  2. Update your name, email, or other details as needed.
  3. Review any settings related to time zone or notification preferences.
  4. Click Save to apply your changes.
Make sure your time zone is correct so your medication reminders fire at the right times.

🔔 Understanding Reminders

Reminders are generated from your schedules and help you remember when to take each medication.

  1. Ensure you have at least one active schedule for a medication.
  2. Check your device or browser settings to allow notifications from MyMedTime (if supported).
  3. When it’s time to take a medication, you’ll see a reminder based on your schedule.
  4. Mark doses as taken (if available) to keep your history accurate.
If you’re not seeing reminders, verify your schedules are active and your notification settings are enabled.

1. Tap the Share button (square with an arrow).
2. Scroll down.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add.

1. Tap the three dots menu.
2. Tap Install App or Add to Home Screen.
3. Tap Install.

📱 Samsung Internet
1. Tap the Menu button.
2. Tap Add page to.
3. Select Home screen.
